NUTRITION COUNSELING

P.A.C.E.

 

P.A.C.E provides noontime dining for people aged 60 and older, and their spouse. Meals are held at Community or Senior Centers in Cedaredge, Delta, Hotchkiss and Paonia. Home delivered meals are also available for homebound elders from the dining sites. Modified/therapeutic meals are available for diabetics, those convalescing or with special dietary needs as prescribed by a physician. Services are funded through the Older Americans Act, the Older Coloradans Act and local donations.

 

There is no charge for meals, but donations are solicited.

 

Whenever considering a nutrition program ASK THESE QUESTIONS:

 

1.      How much is the suggested donation?

 

2.      How many days per week do you serve?

 

3.      What time does the home delivered meal arrive?

 

4.     Do I have to be home for a delivered meal?

 

5.      What are the eligibility criteria for home-delivered meals?
